About us

Supplying India’s refrigeration industry since 1988

A Mumbai-based distributor of genuine OEM refrigeration, HVAC and industrial cooling components.

How we got here

Refrigeration Controls was founded in 1988 by Ajay Singh Pawar, trading from Sion Circle in Mumbai. India’s cold chain was expanding fast at the time, and buyers were struggling to tell genuine components from the copies flooding the market — so the business was built around a simple promise: what you order is what arrives.

Nearly four decades later, we still work the same way. The catalogue has grown and the customers now span cold storage, food processing, pharmaceuticals, marine and commercial HVAC, but the model hasn’t changed. We stock genuine components from established manufacturers, we quote honestly, and we answer the phone.

What we actually do

We distribute refrigeration and control components from ten global manufacturers: Danfoss, Sporlan, Emerson, Honeywell, Henry, Wika, Suniso, Emkarate, Solest and Mafron.

Our catalogue covers six categories — valves and regulators, heat exchangers, instrumentation, filter driers, refrigeration oils, and refrigerant gases and piping. Every item is stocked or sourced to order through authorised channels.

What we are not: a marketplace, a reseller of unbranded equivalents, or a company that will quote you something close enough and hope you don’t notice. In refrigeration, close enough fails at 3am in a cold chamber full of product.

How we work

01

You send a requirement

Part numbers if you have them, a description if you don’t. We’re used to working from either.

02

We quote

Usually within one business day, with pricing, availability and lead time.

03

We supply

Goods dispatched with invoice, e-way bill and transport details. You know where your order is.

04

We stay reachable

Questions after delivery go to the same people who took the order.

Have a requirement? Let’s get you a price.

Send us your part numbers, specifications, or just a description of what you’re trying to solve. We’ll come back with a quotation and, where it helps, an alternative worth considering.
