The Danfoss KPS 31–47 range are heavy-duty pressure-controlled switches for demanding indoor and outdoor duty. Genuine Danfoss stock, supplied from Mumbai.
The Danfoss KPS series is a range of heavy-duty pressure-controlled switches engineered for demanding indoor and outdoor duty. Special attention has been given to a high level of enclosure (IP67 including IPX6 to EN 60529), robust and compact construction, and resistance to shock and vibration — making KPS the standard choice for alarm and regulation systems in factories, diesel plants, compressors, power stations, and on board ships.
Contact position depends on the pressure at the inlet connection relative to the set scale value. The enamelled pressure die-cast aluminium housing (GD-AlSi 12) carries a four-screw anchored cover that can be wire-sealed.
Types available: Danfoss KPS 31, KPS 33, KPS 35, KPS 37, KPS 39, KPS 41, KPS 43, KPS 45 and KPS 47. Tell us the pressure range and whether you need a fixed or adjustable differential and we will confirm the KPS number and code.
Specify a KPS when the switch has to survive vibration, washdown or salt air — engine rooms, compressor skids, ship's plant, outdoor condensing units — and an ordinary pressure switch has already failed once in that position.
