The Danfoss KPS series is a range of heavy-duty pressure-controlled switches engineered for demanding indoor and outdoor duty.
The Danfoss KPS series is a range of heavy-duty pressure-controlled switches engineered for demanding indoor and outdoor duty. Special attention has been given to a high level of enclosure (IP67 including IPX6 to EN 60529), robust and compact construction, and resistance to shock and vibration — making KPS the standard choice for alarm and regulation systems in factories, diesel plants, compressors, power stations, and on board ships.
Contact position depends on the pressure at the inlet connection relative to the set scale value. The enamelled pressure die-cast aluminium housing (GD-AlSi 12) carries a four-screw anchored cover that can be wire-sealed.
