Danfoss GBC Series

Danfoss GBC ball valves are manually operated, bi-directional shut-off valves for refrigeration and air conditioning systems, installed in liquid, suction, and hot gas lines. The laser-welded, custom-made brass construction delivers consistent performance under aggressive operating conditions, including high-pressure duty with R410A.

The design guarantees pressure balance with the valve closed, permits flow in both directions, and gives maximum flow (full bore) in the fully open position. Valves are available with or without an external access port, and every valve carries a one-piece wire-sealable cap to prevent unintentional removal or tampering between services.

Types available: Danfoss GBC (standard 45 bar brass), GBC L for CO₂ at 90 bar, and GBCT for CO₂ at 140 bar. Ordered by line size across the common solder ODF and flare connections — send the line outside diameter, the refrigerant and whether you need the access-port version, and we will confirm the code number.

Fit a GBC when you need a full-bore isolation point that can be wire-sealed and left in the line for years — either side of a drier, a compressor or a receiver, so the next service does not mean pumping the whole system down.
