Danfoss RT Series

The Danfoss RT Series is one of the most trusted lines of electromechanical pressure and temperature controls in industrial refrigeration. The series comprises pressure switches, differential pressure switches, pressure switches with neutral zone regulation, and thermostats with room, duct, and capillary tube sensors — all engineered for demanding industrial and marine environments, including dedicated safety pressure switches for steam boiler plants.

RT units incorporate a single-pole changeover (SPDT) switch whose contact position depends on the pressure at the connection port (or sensor temperature, for thermostat variants) relative to the set value. Set cut-out pressure and differential remain constant regardless of ambient temperature changes around the control housing, within the permissible ambient range.

Types available: Danfoss RT 1A, RT 5, RT 6S, RT 101, RT 107, RT 116 and adjacent RT models. Send us the setting range and differential you need and we will confirm the exact RT number. If your existing control is marked with a KP number instead, send that — the KP and RT ranges cover overlapping duties.

Specify an RT when a plant needs a robust high-pressure trip, low-pressure cut-out, oil differential trip or fan cycling control that will hold its setting under vibration and in marine conditions.
