Danfoss RT Series

The Danfoss RT Series is one of the most trusted lines of electromechanical pressure and temperature controls in industrial refrigeration. The series comprises pressure switches, differential pressure switches, pressure switches with neutral zone regulation, and thermostats with room, duct, and capillary tube sensors — all engineered for demanding industrial and marine environments, including dedicated safety pressure switches for steam boiler plants.

RT units incorporate a single-pole changeover (SPDT) switch whose contact position depends on the pressure at the connection port (or sensor temperature, for thermostat variants) relative to the set value. Set cut-out pressure and differential remain constant regardless of ambient temperature changes around the control housing, within the permissible ambient range.
