The Danfoss ICLX is a 2-step servo-operated main valve with pilot solenoid valves, part of the ICV Flexline™ platform.

The Danfoss ICLX is a 2-step servo-operated main valve with pilot solenoid valves, part of the ICV Flexline™ platform. ICLX valves are used in suction lines for opening against high differential pressure — for instance after hot gas defrost in large industrial refrigeration systems running ammonia (R717), fluorinated refrigerants, or CO₂ (R744).
The valve opens in two steps: step one opens to approximately 10% of capacity when the pilot solenoid valves are activated; step two opens automatically once the pressure differential across the valve reaches approximately 1 bar. This staged opening prevents pressure shock in the suction line. The standard ICV Flexline™ housing makes the ICLX a plug-and-play solution with easy switching between valve functions (ICS, ICM, ICLX share the housing platform).
2-step differential-pressure opening
ideal for post-defrost suction line duty
ICV Flexline™ modular platform
shared housings across ICS / ICM / ICLX functions
Normally closed design
with manual opening device for service
Broad refrigerant compatibility
ammonia, fluorinated refrigerants, and CO₂; closed-circuit use
