Valves & Regulators

Danfoss AVTA valves are self-acting thermostatic water valves used for infinite, proportional regulation of flow quantity based on the valve setting and sensor temperature.

Danfoss AVTA valves are self-acting thermostatic water valves used for infinite, proportional regulation of flow quantity based on the valve setting and sensor temperature. Being self-acting, they operate entirely without auxiliary energy — no electricity or compressed air required — making them exceptionally reliable in industrial cooling duties.

AVTA cooling water valves open on rising sensor temperature and can be installed in either the cooling water flow line or return line. The pressure-relieved design means the degree of opening is unaffected by differential pressure across the valve, and the force-compensated construction makes the valve actively resistant to dirt.

Fully self-acting operation

needs no power supply, wiring, or air supply

Opening on rising sensor temperature

proportional regulation

Pressure-relieved opening degree

independent of differential pressure (0–10 bar)

Dirt and pressure tolerance

insensitive to dirt and to water pressure fluctuations
