Mafron R-410A is the 50/50 near-azeotropic blend of R-32 and R-125 that became the world standard for modern residential and light-commercial air conditioning. With negligible temperature glide (<0.2 K) it behaves like a single-component fluid in service, and its high volumetric capacity enabled the compact, efficient AC equipment now installed across India in vast numbers — all of which needs genuine service gas.
The critical service fact: R-410A operates at roughly 50–60% higher pressures than R-22. It is exclusively for equipment designed for it — never a retrofit gas for R-22 systems — and demands R-410A-rated gauges, hoses, and recovery equipment. POE lubricant only.
