Sporlan HVE Series

The Sporlan HVE is a Type H body thermostatic expansion valve for R-22 duty with external equalization — decoded per Sporlan nomenclature as H (body type) + V (refrigerant code for R-22 family, green colour code) + E (external equalizer). The Type H is one of Sporlan's classic large-capacity flanged valve bodies, re-rated to ARI Standard 750 and in continuous industrial service for decades — which is precisely why HVE valves remain a staple of the Indian replacement market for R-22 cold storage and process plants.

Sporlan TEVs regulate liquid refrigerant injection into the evaporator, controlled by superheat. Core Sporlan engineering carries across the range: a large flat diaphragm for precise valve control, field-replaceable thermostatic elements, precise pin-and-port alignment for tight seating, and external superheat adjustment on all standard valves.
